Michael's Eclectic Pages Bookshelves

Newspapers

Much of the reading I do now seems to be on the Internet, but I still read the newspaper wherever I am.  That usually means the Kansas City Star, but might occasionally include the Newark Star-Ledger, the New York Times, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, or USA Today.  I also try to read the Wall Street Journal every so often (online, the WSJ requires a subscription to get much of anything. The others listed above carry a surprising amount of material; but of course, the print versions are much more comprehensive - and portable *L*)

Other newspapers I check out on-line occasionally include:

The Chicago Tribune
Orlando Sentinel
Raleigh News & Observer
San Jose Mercury
National Geographic Online    - okay, so it's a magazine - I just had to list it !
PitchWeekly
Phoenix New Times

For a comprehensive list of newspapers online from all over, check the Editor & Publisher Media Links. Or try NewsDirectory.

You may have already decided on your online "portal," customized it, maybe even made it the "home page" on your computer.  Here's where I look for my news online daily:

My Yahoo
iWon
My Netscape...  and of course, on
my own news pages (yes, if you didn't realize it, michaelseclectic.com has all kinds of news, and just like the others, headlines are linked to the complete story.)
